Monthly Community Update from Sgt Muddiman- Chelmsley Wood Neighbourhood Team |
||
|
Hello Resident,
I hope this message finds you well. As we move through November, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.
Our current focus areas include: As a result of a number of targeted activities we have so far seized 147 off road bikes over the last 18 months, reduced theft from motor vehicles offences by 30% and Robbery by over 8% which equates to over 50 fewer victims in the last 12 months. We have also seen a 24% decrease in shoplifting offences due to a combination of partnership working and robust sentencing imposed by the courts.
We are now fully up and running with the new neighbourhood policing model which was introduced in July 2025. As a result you have dedicated neighbourhood officers for each ward as a point of contact to discuss community issues.
These are: Chelmsley Wood - PC 26755 Stiles and PCSO 30877 Poole Fordbridge - PC 25818 Patel, PCSO 30873 Carr and PCSO 32091 Ahmed.

As we approach the darker nights we have been posting on our X account (@ChelmlseyWMP) some crime prevention and safety advice. We also share details of our upcoming events and good news stories so please give us a follow.
🎉 Upcoming Events 12/11/25- Cuppa with a Coppa at Three Trees Community Centre
We’d love to see you there—these events are a great way to meet and speak to the team about local issues that affect our community the most.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement.
Stay safe and take care,
Sgt Muddiman
